Full Interior Design Service
For Irish, London, and US Homes
Mairead's Full Interior Design Service is a complete, start-to-finish experience for homeowners who want to hand over the complexity and trust that the result will be everything they imagined. From the first brief to the final reveal, every decision, every trade, every detail is handled.
What Is The Full Interior Design Service?
A beautifully designed home is one that works as hard as it looks, elegant, considered, and built around the particular way you live. Whether you are building a family home in Cork, renovating a period property in London, or creating a new Irish inspired interior in the US, this service takes every element of your project from concept through to completion, fully coordinated and delivered to the highest standard.
The Full Interior Design Service covers everything: spatial planning, furniture sourcing and FF&E selection, finishes and materials, lighting design, contractor coordination, procurement, and on-site quality oversight. Mairead works directly with your architect or builder from the outset, ensuring that the structural decisions and the interior design develop together rather than in isolation. The result is a home where everything belongs, and nothing feels like an afterthought.
What’s Included?
Every Full Interior Design project includes a tailored design concept, moodboards, spatial layouts, a curated materials and FF&E palette, developed in close conversation with you and grounded in the architecture and character of your specific home. Space planning is approached with the same care as aesthetics: furniture placement, lighting layers, circulation, and functional flow across every room are mapped in detail so that the finished home is as practical to live in as it is beautiful to be in.
From there, Mairead manages the full coordination of your project. She places orders with lead times in mind, liaises directly with your contractors and specialist trades, oversees quality on site, and resolves the inevitable challenges that arise during any significant build, so they never become yours to carry. You are kept informed at every meaningful stage, involved in the decisions that matter most to you, and free from the weight of the detail that sits behind the scenes.
Who Is This Service For?
This service is designed for clients who are undertaking a significant project and want it delivered with the same quality of care from the first conversation to the final styling. New build homeowners working with architects and developers in Ireland or London will find that bringing Mairead in from the earliest stages produces a far more cohesive result, structural decisions, material selections, and lighting positions are considered together rather than retrofitted. Whole-home renovators get the overarching vision and coordination that prevents a large project from becoming a series of disconnected rooms.
Above all, this service is for people who are ready to trust the process entirely. You know what you want your home to feel like; Mairead knows how to get it there. You do not need to chase contractors, second-guess specifications, or spend your evenings researching tile suppliers. That is what she is here for.
How Mairead's Interior Design Projects Work
Stage 1 - Getting to Know You
Every project begins with an in-depth initial consultation where Mairead gathers a full picture of your home, your lifestyle, and your ambitions for the space. From how you live and what you love, to timelines and budget expectations, nothing is assumed. After this meeting, you receive a tailored proposal outlining the right services for your project and a clear overview of fees. Once approved and signed, your design journey begins.
Stages 2, 3, and 4 - Design, Concept, and Tender
These stages are where the creative work deepens. Mairead continues refining your brief, drawing out your colour instincts, spatial preferences, and the practical rhythms of your household, before developing your full design scheme, moodboards, material palettes, FF&E selections, floor plans, and lighting layouts. You are encouraged to see and feel key pieces in person where possible before decisions are finalised. Once the scheme is agreed and costs are signed off, the final stage of design produces all drawings, schedules, and specifications needed to brief every trade on site, from joinery details to electrical schematics.
Stage 5 - Construction and Supply
With plans approved and the project team in place, work begins on site and orders are placed in parallel, carefully sequenced to account for lead times and the logic of the build programme. Mairead coordinates actively throughout this stage, navigating the surprises that are part of any significant project with a calm, collaborative approach that keeps the design and the timeline intact.
Stages 6 and 7 - Snagging, Handover, and Welcome Home
As works near completion, Mairead oversees quality and produces a formal snag list, a careful audit of everything that needs adjusting or finishing to the agreed standard before sign-off. Nothing is signed off until it is right. At the final handover, you receive a care pack covering maintenance guidance, product information, warranties, and guarantees. The project is complete. A home that reflects exactly who you are is just beginning.
Having lived and worked in Ireland, London, and the USA, Mairead brings a perspective that is rare at the level of bespoke residential interior design. She understands the character of Irish architecture across periods and regions, the quality of Irish light and how to design around it, and the practicalities of building and renovating in both Ireland and the UK. This is combined with an international sensibility earned through years of travel, practice, and a lifelong curiosity about how people inhabit beautiful spaces.
Every project is approached as a genuine partnership. You are involved in the decisions that define your home and kept clearly informed throughout, while Mairead carries the technical complexity, the contractor relationships, and the relentless attention to detail that make the difference between a good result and an exceptional one. The homes she creates are elegant and refined, but they are also warm, liveable, and unmistakably personal. Luxury that genuinely feels like yours.
